YouTuber Michael Bradley, from Stockport, and friend Ashley Johnson made the discovery while using magnets to haul items from a section of the river in Sale.
Michael says he has found quite a lot of money boxes, particularly from spots that are “hot spots” for thieves dumping their swag. He has found cash inside boxes before although most are empty.
